News and Info

Lewis County has started a pilot program that expands the electronics that can be recycled at the Hazo Hut every Wednesday and the first and third Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Acceptable items that customers (residential and small business) can bring in for free include small copiers, keyboards, scanners, dvd players, stereos, cell phones, cable boxes, electric heaters, coffee makers, electric griddles, small microwaves, printers, mice, fax machines, vhs players, portable radios, PDAs, portable telephones, hair dryers, hot plates, vacuum cleaners and sewing machines.

If you have questions about this new program that will run through June 2015, or until the grant funding runs out, call 740-1451.
